(Intermission: Revelations)

Hmm. So you were probably wondering when the hell I was going to continue on with that story I was writing earlier. I plan on continuing it. But I just have no motivation to. I dunno. I'm not happy with how Jarid's character has come into place. I always think up new ideas and powers for his character. I dunno. I might go back and edit his character entirely. But I don't have the time.

As you know I really have a distaste for the holidays, and this one seems to be worse than the others. I just feel really distant from everyone again, and I really can't talk with anyone anymore. Whenever someone asks me how I'm doing I just say, "Fine" or "Alright". I guess deep down I don't want to talk about my issues. I would rather hear other peoples issues before mine. I guess I don't want to worry people. I fear that I may be slipping away from my friends one by one, talking to them less and less, and I don't want that to happen. I love all my friends that are close to me. But most of them are far away, and I'm to lazy/don't have enough cash to drive up and visit them.

The holidays are a time where you get together with friends and family and enjoy yourself...I'm the black sheep of the family, and I'm always busy during the holidays. So I just get a strong sense of loneliness. Anyway. I'm probably just rambling now, and repeating on what I blogged earlier.

It sucks when you deliberately try to not think about a specific someone, and at weird random times, the person pops into your head and then you can't stop thinking about he/she. Then it starts to annoy you and your day slowly gets worse and worse, as that person keeps clinging onto your thoughts like an annoying tumor..that keeps happening. Anyway. Sorry for being away for so long. Expect a new chapter soon!

Chapter 6: The Twin Terrors

Laying on top of a sky scraper, watching the color of the sky slowly darken as the sun began to set. People slowly walking out of the sky scrapers around the city, starting the trek back to their homes. Hearing a beep come from his wrist watch, Robe Man slowly got to his feet and checked the time. The watched was cracked and was the arms were stuck on the time 2:35. "Well guess it is time," He said slowly pulling out a grapple gun out from under his blue robe, "Where oh where did you go Plaid Whip?" He said aiming the grapple at another building. Gently pulling the trigger, he watched the hook fly off towards the other building.

Yawning as he felt the grapple gun's line catch onto the building, he heard a noise behind him, turning his head around to see what made the noise, a man in a long trench coat running headlong at him. Recognizing this man instantly Robe Man scowled and retracted the line on his grapple gun pulling himself away from The Disheveled Creeper and whatever he wanted.

Glaring at the Robed Hero retreat from the rooftop of the building, he continued to run after him, pulling his Grapple Gun out and shooting it out in the general direction where Robe Man went off to.

Landing gently on the side of sky scraper, Robe Man looked up at the top of the building and saw another line connect with the roof top of this skyscraper. Looking behind him he saw the Disheveled Creeper leaping off the previous building and swinging down below him. After a few moments the cable from the Creeper's gun started making a straining noise as it quickly pulled him up. Pushing a button on the side of his grapple gun, Robe Man suddenly let out a lot of cable and fell downwards toward his pursuer.

Seeing his quarry start to fall down towards him, The Creeper stopped his ascension and pushed himself off of the side of the skyscraper. Slowly swinging back from the building the Creeper attached the grapple gun to his side. Robe Man watching the Creeper shove himself off the side of the building wondered what he was planning. Stopping his dissension and attaching his grapple gun to his side as well, taking his eyes off the Creeper while doing so, he suddenly felt something warm and wet go up and down his ear. He screamed and turned around, but no one was there, he then felt something wrap around his neck and his entire body was forced through a window of the sky scraper, landing his head hard against a cabinet Robe Man lost consciousness.

Yawning to himself as he swung silently through the hole Robe Man made for him, The Disheveled Creeper smiled at the unconscious form of his first lead into this whole affair. "Well, well Mr. Robe Man. We are going to have fun." With that the Disheveled Creeper held his hand out and some how almost puppet like Robe Man got to his feet, blood oozing down the side of his face. "Come on. I have to show you my new hangout. I'm sure you are going to LOVE it."

Chapter 5: Journey in the Sewers

The gargantuan salamander slowly swam its way along the sewers its large black eyes going this way and that staring at the sewer ceiling. Stopping for a moment at a fork in the sewer river it raised its mouth out of the water, a slender foot sticking out of the side of it, smelling the air around him. Smelling the familiar stench of its home down the tunnel to the left. Growling a bit in anticipation of a possible reward from his master, he dived back underwater and sped his way along to his home.

The further the Salamander swam down this part of the sewer the more dilapidated the sewer walls looked, parts of the wall here and there were crumbling from erosion and lack of maintenance. Soon the Salamander saw what he was looking for. A certain green light emanating from a large hole in the wall. Crawling out of the sewer the Salamander went into the hole, heading towards the light. The light dimmed as the salamander approached and seemed fade away as the creature walked through it. When it passed the light started to glow vibrant again.

Going down the passageway the Salamander finally reached his home, after hours of swimming in the dirty water of the city above and a couple walking down this path which opened into a large cavern. The cavern was dimly lit but it was in better shape than the sewer itself. In the middle of the cavern was a large hole that could have been judged as an abyss, alongside the caverns walls there were drawings of other large salamanders and lizards all around, either slaying large insects or large worms. In the far back of the cavern there was a large building made of rotted wood, the wood looked centuries old and appeared it could break at the slightest breath.

Slowly making his way toward the building, the Salamander spat the woman he caught at the bank out gently on the ground in front of the door. After doing this a quiet, raspy voice called out from the interior of the building. "Good job, little one." Stepping out of the building a woman came out. She was a lot smaller than the salamander, and a bit shorter than the woman that was delivered to her. She had bushy shoulder length brown hair, brown eyes, and was wearing what appeared to be a dress made out of old salamander skin. In the city she was only known as The Witch of the Sewers, but when she left the safety of her home she called herself "Sallymender" Staring at the woman curiously, she gently patted the salamander gently on the noggin. "Go join your brother and sister," she said prodding the woman with her toe, "I'll give you your reward shortly."

The salamander squeaked and nuzzled the woman for a second or two before it scrambled off into the darkness.

Kneeling over now inspecting the unconscious woman, Sallymender gently touched the forehead of the woman. Feeling the memories of the woman pour into her head, she learned what happened to her. Frowning at the memory of the Plaid Whip, she pulled her finger back away from her head. "Well. That was unfortunate. Hmm. What kind of person are you?" Sally then gently placed her hand over the woman's heart. Shuddering at all the emotions flying into her body at once, she pulled her hand away from her heart. Mumbling to herself as she sat down next to the woman. "You are a complicated one." Getting to her feet steadily, for whenever she touched others minds or hearts she became very woozy. After awhile when she got control of her equalibrium again, she picked the woman up and walked into the building.

Inside the building there was a lone lightbulb hanging from the ceiling. The dim light barely illuminated what looked like a one room house. Making her way carefully towards the bed, she set the woman down on the small bed and wrapped her up with her moldy old blankets. "We'll talk I suppose when you wake up." Yawning to herself Sallymender sat down next to the small wooden table and watched the strange woman sleep.

Chapter 4: For Your Consideration

Commissioner Henry grumbled as he plopped down behind his desk. He was tired and only wanted this day to end. He had to give multiple recounts of what happened to the media, he had to contact the deceased families who had family members die in the fight. He had to contact the hospital to make sure the men that did not die, were taken good care of.

Picking up the phone for what seemed like the millionth time today, Henry dialed the sewer company. Running his hand through his graying hair, he scowled as he was put on hold. Cursing the sewer company's poor public policy, he slammed the phone back on the receiver. "I'll just call them later." He said watching the phone start to ring. "Probably the bank now," he said picking the phone up again, "Hello, this is Commissioner Henry." A very low voice spoke squirmed into Henry's ears. "Hello Commissioner, please meet me up on the roof." Henry blinked behind his glasses and asked, "Who is this?" The voice said simply, "A friend." With that the caller hung up.

Yawning Henry slowly got up from his desk, cautiously unbuckling the holster of his gun so he could easily pull it out. Walking up the stairs to the roof he gently pushed the door labeled "Roof Access". Looking around the roof Henry saw his caller. From all he could see the caller was a tall man, with disheveled black hair with strings of gray littered here and there in the blackness. The man was wearing a long dark brown overcoat with pockets all over the jacket.

Henry coughed to get the man's attention, turning to face him, his eyes hidden with thick sunglasses that reflected the sunlight into Henry's eyes. Using his hand to shield the glare from his eyes Henry said, "Hello there, I'm Commissioner-" The man interrupted Henry. "I know who you are, and I don't want you to know who I am. So shut the fuck up and listen to what I have to say." The man's voice was eerily quiet, but very harsh at the same time. Henry blinked taken aback by his sudden rudeness. The man continued. "Early this morning cops went into the bank and got slaughtered by super villains. The super villains got away and you are unaware of what happened." Henry cut in, "Actually we know a great deal. It was the Plaid Whip who murdered the cops and attempted to murder the unknown burglar-" The Man frowned and cut off Henry again, "You would like to think that. But this whole thing is a huge set up. Has this type of event ever happened before? Two super's ironically trying to knock over the same bank at the same time? No. Someone is pulling the strings, threading each of the villains together, Why? I don't know. Who? I don't know. Someone is using The Plaid Whip as a tool to eliminate the other villains, even the Whip himself does not suspect that he is just a mere pawn in this game."

Henry stared at the strange disheveled man and said, "You must be The Disheveled Creeper. We have never met before but I heard about you and your strange knack of capabilities. What makes you think that the villains are being played? And how can you explain the large hole in the bathroom floor that leads to the sewers?" The Creeper smirked and said, "Why did no heroes show up? Where was Robe Man? Captain Shoe Shine? Lady Veil? Off fighting crime elsewhere? I highly doubt it." Henry smirked and asked, "Where were you then? Don't start blaming other heroes if you can be put in the same basket." The Creeper chuckled and said, "Smart man," digging through his pockets he flung out some pictures. "These are from last night, I was at a strip club getting my lap dances on. You can go there and ask any of the performers if I was there. They will convince you. Now answer me this. Who was the first hero on the scene?"

Henry gazing at all the crazy pictures that the Creeper flung all around the roof, said without thinking, "It was Robe Man." Smiling to himself The Disheveled Creeper said, "Thanks Commissioner you will see me again." Henry looking up from the pictures saw that the hero was gone. "Where do they learn that?" Scratching his head he retreated back to his desk.

Landing gently on the ground The Disheveled Creeper silently pocketed his grapple gun. Mumbling to himself he walked down the street, "Robe Man huh? Well looks like I have a few questions to ask him." The Disheveled Creeper smiled and walked in the direction of the bank, hoping to find Robe Man's trail.

Chapter 3: Misunderstanding

Peeking out of the hole she made in the safe, the woman watched as the blurry shapes of the law enforcement come into the bank, their guns pointed in her direction. Knowing that it would be utter suicide to try to resist capture at this point while her powers were weakened by the mass of lights flooding her from all sides. Hearing a voice commanding her to come out with her hands above her head, she silently obeyed. As soon as she got out of the safe, she felt herself pushed roughly to the ground, and her hands forced behind her back and zip tied.

Feeling herself get pulled up to her feet, she was pushed roughly in the back, glancing around hoping that when she gets outside it would be dark enough to slaughter these men. She started to walk in the direction of the main bank door, when shouts and gun fire were heard. The patrol of cops that were accompanying her, stopped and asked a few questions about what was going outside into their walkie talkies. She could not hear very well, and her sight was blurred due to the lights, what she got out of the walkie talkies was "Plaid Whip" and "Open fire". She did not know who or what this "Plaid Whip" was but she knew "Open Fire" feeling the cops roughly push her down again on the floor as they pulled out their guns and formed a circle around her.

Landing gently on the roof, The Plaid Whip cracked his weapon on the ceiling of the bank, he scowled noting that it would take more force to break through this. Looking around he snapped his whip in the direction of the nearest sky scraper and retracted the whip, pulling himself up to the top with great speed. About halfway up the sky scraper, he stopped and he set his feet against one of the large windows. Bending his knees he squatted in midair and after taking a deep breath he kicked out releasing the whips hold on the skyscraper. Falling down back towards the bank his red hair flying behind him, he snapped his whip downward and watched as the end of the whip change into a large hammer. Smiling to himself he watched the hammer land hard into the roof going in about halfway. He pulled the whip back again and struck the roof once more as he got closer and closer to certain death. However on the second hit he felt the hammer break through all the way.

The villain then retracted the rest of the whip and started falling faster. Before hitting the roof however he yanked the whip behind him, pulling a large hole out of the ceiling of the bank. The whip then came back down and slammed in the ground to halt the villains fall, and saving his life.

The cops opened fire when they saw the villain break into the bank. The woman trying to see what the hell was going on raised her head only to have it shoved back down by a watchful officer.

Smirking to himself The Plaid Whip watched as each and every bullet was blocked by his watchful and protective whip. "You guys should know better," he said as he brought the whip back, "You can't do anything to me!" He swung the whip in a horizontal sweeping motion watching the edges of the whip sharpen.

Screams of pain occurred all around the captured woman, and she felt something warm and wet fall all over her. Looking up she saw half of the cops recovering from a quick duck, half of their faces covered with blood. The other half however were headless and their bodies started to fall over. She gasped with fright as she down at herself and found that she was drenched in blood.

The Plaid Whip cackled with delight at the sight of the headless cops. Swinging the whip upward again he brought it down again targeting one of the cops, the cop barely dodged it and fired wildly at the villain, missing him and his whip entirely and taking out one of the bright flood lights. The villain laughed and yanked his whip back, in this motion he accidentally took out the flood light that was directly above the cops. "Come on! You guys should just give up!" he taunted bringing the whip back toward the cop he missed before piercing him in the heart.

The woman, noticing the brightness suddenly go dark all around her smirked and glanced at the nearest light with her green eyes. She frowned, as a small glob of darkness fought it's way from her shadow all the way to the nearest light. She pushed hard with her mind when she finally felt it, the quickly dissolving glob pushing against the light. Snapping her fingers the little glob exploded taking the light with it. Smiling now as most of her energy returned, she dissolved the zip ties around her wrist and slowly got to her feet.

Plaid Whip's eyes narrowed as he saw someone that was not a cop stand up. Swinging the whip back he took a swing at his new target instead. The figure simply raised a hand and caught the whip with her bare palm. The figure looked back at the villain, and was suddenly covered in darkness. Hearing the cracks of the lights all around him, the entire bank was smothered in darkness, the only light that trickled it's way into the bank was from the police flood lights outside, and the headlights of the cars. All he could see of the strange person was her green eyes. Pulling his whip back he aimed a shot straight for them.

The woman felt the whip fly through the darkness, she closed her eyes and the whip stopped in mid air. With a mere thought she bent the whip and forced it to take the shape of a long pointed spear. Opening her palm she pushed the spear back, and heard the sounds of the villain scream of pain. She smelled his blood dirty the air.

Feeling his own weapon plunge through his left arm, Plaid Whip screamed with pain, as he pulled the whip out. He snarled and raised the whip with his bleeding arm and cracked the whip again hoping to slay whoever this person was. As he did this he felt more of his body parts pierced with an unknown weapon. Screaming in pain he collapsed to the ground.

The woman smirked as she saw her foe fall to the ground. "Don't know why you tried so hard," she said slowly engulfing him into darkness, "Time for me to end this." When the villain was fully engulfed in darkness, the woman began to close her hand, her intention to squeeze the life from this "Plaid Whip". However she felt her power suddenly drained away from her. Gasping for breath she looked over at the outside, The sun was beginning to rise. "Fuck!" snarling to herself, she recalled her shadow to herself releasing the villain. "Not now..not now.." Glancing over to the sunlight she turned away from the fight and fled from the sun.

However she did not get very far as something very large came out of nowhere and knocked her over. The woman banged her head hard on the floor and felt her consciousness fade away. Slowly getting back to his feet, Plaid Whip saw the large salamander looming over the woman from before. With a snarl of pain he snapped his whip up and fled from the scene knowing who that salamander belonged to. He did not want to get in a fight with that person right now.

The Salamander roared and gently attempted to scoop the woman up with his mouth. However the shadow of the unconscious woman reared back and attacked the Salamander. Roaring with pain the salamander slashed at the shadows only to do no harm to them but causing damage to the bank wall. Trying to fight off the shadows the Salamander lashed this way and that with his large claws. The shadows finally seemed to dissipate when the sunlight fully illuminated the bank. Blinking to itself the large creature seemed to think it won the fight. Shaking it's head happily it gently scooped the woman up with it's mouth and made its way toward the entrance it made. The Bathroom. Diving into the sewers it made its way home, his prize in safe in his mouth.

Chapter 2: Investigations

Commissioner Henry was a simple man, he enjoyed the simple things of life and that exact reason was why he joined the police force in order to keep life simple. Unfortunately for him, he picked the wrong city to work in. Almost every morning he received a call about one thing or another that those damned Super Villains destroyed during the night. Today started like every other, his cell phone waking him up in his lovely suburb home exactly an hour away from the hustle and bustle of the city, a home he paid an arm and a leg for, almost losing it to his ex-wife in the divorce and almost having it destroyed by a particular super villain that seemed to have it in for him.

Picking up the cell phone, rubbing his tired eyes he groggily asked into the device, "What happened now?" The voice on the other line he recognized belonged to Detective Karn, one of his more unusual detectives on the force. "Sir, there seemed to be a bit of a issue that occurred at the city bank last night, apparently multiple officers came to the scene and went in only to never come out." Henry sighed thinking of all men and women that probably had died, looking over at his alarm clock he noticed that this call happened a bit earlier than the usual ones. Sighing again he said to Karn, "Karn when did the Bank alarms go off?" the reply was instant as if Karn had this whole conversation and its flow memorized from the sheer amount of times he had called the commissioner at his home. "Around an hour ago. According to the data from the security company."

Henry yawned, and said, "Okay, I'm coming up to check it out. Set up a perimeter if you already have not, try to find the officers that went in, and again do not engage the super villains." With that Henry closed his cell phone and slumped back onto the bed. He mumbled to himself, "God damn super villains. The heroes are just as bad, from time to time. Why did I take this job?" Rubbing his eyes, he got up and walked into his bathroom. Looking at himself, he could tell that the stress of his job was finally getting to him, gray hairs were already littering his once curly brown hair.

After he finished his usual morning routine Henry, walked out of his property, got to his car, realized he forgot his badge, and went back in to fetch it. "Always something," he muttered to himself as he walked back to his sleek black car, "There is always something."

An hour later he arrived at what used to be the City Bank. The sun was slowly rising, and the building was still very dark, but he could tell that it was very much torn up. Walking up towards the building he found Karn running up to him with a large cup of coffee. "Here you go Henry." He said, handing him the large warm drink. Henry sipped the cup of coffee and looked up at Karn. Karn was a bit taller than Henry himself, sported short black hair, and appeared older than his age. Although ironically he acted a bit more immature than most his age, apart from that he was also full of energy and he had high enthusiasm for just about anything. He was a good man. Henry smiled at Karn and said, "You're working with me on this one." Karn smiled wide and said, "Thank you sir! I'll do my best!" With that the two men walked up into the remains of the bank.

Looking around what used to be the main teller office Henry asked, "You find any of the officers?" Karn nodded and said, "Most of them, some of them still alive, according to them they had a female suspect cornered and captive, they were taking her outside when another suspect came down through the roof. Through all the confusion the female got away, but the funny thing is the other suspect, who is highly suspected to be The Plaid Whip, started to attack the first suspect, and the police." Henry sighed and glanced upward at the large hole that apparently Plaid Whip made himself.

"What did the woman do?" he asked noticing the small circular hole in the safe. "She went absolutely berserk. She started to tear the place apart it seems with an unknown force." Henry walked over and inspected some large claw marks on the walls. "We got anything on this woman suspect?" He asked feeling the marks with his fingers. "No sir, nothing at all, she must be new." Henry turned and asked Karn, "Who do you think made these?" gesturing to the claw marks.

Karn walked up to them and said, "Plaid Whip maybe? I know that he can change his whip into anything. Maybe he made it into a clawed weapon on the fly?" Henry nodded in agreement,"Possibly, can't rule that out. Any heroes get involved?" Karn shook his head, "Not to my knowledge. No." Henry took another sip of coffee and muttered,"That is what is strange about this. You would think someone like Robe Man or The Disheveled Creeper would jump in at this." Henry started to head toward the safe, he asked, "Money all gone?" "No sir. All of it was left. Seemed to not be on the mind of anyone at the time."

Henry peered into the hole in the safe and saw that the money was still all in there. "So what he have here, is a unknown female suspect trying to steal money from the bank, she trips up and sets off the alarm. Cops come in, catch her, but the attention catches the eye of a super villain who is not all that friendly towards his comrades. He attacks everyone in the building destroying most of it. The woman also attacks everyone in the building, and then more cops come and they flee?" Henry shook his head, "That sounds fishy to me. Villains can easily handle us, why would they leave the money? Someone else must have come along to make them run. But who?"

Henry turned to Karn and said, "Check the building. There might be answers to the entrance of another Villain." Karn shook his head and said, "Already did that sir. No evidence can support that." Henry smirked at Karn and asked, "How did the woman escape?" Karn blinked and said, "I don't know." Henry then asked,"Well we can assume she escaped the way she got in. How did she get in?"

Karn coughed a little and said, "That we don't know either." Henry sighed and said, "Karn one thing you need to learn is to look everywhere when dealing with these villains. Did you check the bathroom?" Karn shook his head but then smiled and walked off toward the bathroom.

Henry smiled as he watched the detective go off to investigate the lavatory, but then something tapped him on the shoulder. Jumping a little in fright he turned around and saw someone very peculiar. "Oh, I was wondering when you would arrive." He said his eyes forming a slight glare at the sight of one of the cities heroes.

Henry was not fond of this particular hero. He seemed to do what he wanted and cared not what he did. He caused a lot of needless damage to city hall when the Plaid Whip tried to assassinate the mayor, to the time he purposely burnt down an orphanage that was being held hostage by Quiz Boy, his reasoning was that if the orphanage was being held hostage he should just burn it.

Henry glared at every inch of the man, from the length of his dark blue robe, that served as the figure point of his costume, to his normal clothes underneath, his fingerless gloves, his grappling hook strapped to his back, to his mask which hid his identity. Robe Man was not what you call a solution to a problem, more like a problem to a problem. "You know I could easily have you arrested." Henry said watching the hero run his fingers through his messy brown hair. "For what you did at the orphanage. You should be behind bars." Robe Man smirked again and said, "Cut the crap Henry, you know I would just evade capture like these Villains here. Now do you want me to help you figure it out or not?"

Henry already knew Robe Man had an idea what happened here and it was to early in the morning to play his games. "Why don't you enlighten me on what occurred here tonight?" Henry said, eying him carefully. Robe Man yawned and his hazel eyes quickly scanned the room. "Seems to me, that you had a burglary gone wrong. Burglar made a mistake tripped the alarm, got in a tussle with the cops, 'ol Whip shows up pissed that someone is taking his spotlight, tries to kill the burglar along with the cops. But Whip is taken by surprise by the Burglar who was more formidable than he suspected. So these two supers, fighting themselves and the cops. Don't suspect a thing when a large salamander comes out of the floor."

Henry scoffed and said, "There are no large holes in the floor. Look around you." Robe Man blinked and said, "Oh, you are right. I must be wrong. But who made those?" He asked pointing at the large claw marks on the walls. "Those are not from the Plaid Whip. Trust me. I know what the Whip is capable of. Are you sure you checked everywhere for entrances for another villain?" From another room Karn's voice rang through out the Bank. "Commissioner Henry! Come quick! I found something!"

Robe Man smirked again at Henry and said, "You best go see your boy, Henry. Before he gets in too deep." Henry who was looking over in Karn's direction turned back to Robe Man but found no one there. "God damn it. I hate it when he does that."

Moving over to the bathroom of the bank, Henry found Karn staring into the bathroom. "What did you find Karn? Somebody not flush?" He joked chuckling to himself. Karn just pointed into the bathroom and Henry peeked in. There was no bathroom. It seemed it was torn out by some huge creature from underneath and pulled under into the sewer system. Gazing into the sewers Henry sighed and thought to himself, "How does he always know?" He tried to fight the image of Robe Man's smirking face that he was probably making right now. He turned to Karn and said, "Well looks like we have to rule a few things out in our hypothesis."

Chapter 1: Two Hours Earlier

Behind the City Bank hours before the cops rushed in, and a certain villain clad in plaid came to investigate. The person who caused the ruckus was currently leaning against the wall of the alley behind the Bank. Casually lighting a cigarette with a zippo lighter and bringing it up to her mouth, her green eyes staring deep at the wall of the bank.

The woman blended in perfectly with the darkness of the alley, as her entire attire was black. The only way someone would notice her was if someone walked by and noticed the small light from the cigarette. Her hair was tied back in a pony tail so it would not get in her way when she started what she planned to do tonight.

Finishing the cigarette she walked casually to the spot she was eying before and placed her hands against the wall. After she did this she spat the cigarette butt out of her mouth, she glanced at it and the small light seemed to be grabbed by an unseen force as the butt was dissolved. Smirking to herself she pushed her weight against the wall. The building creaked and moaned as the back of the bank seemed to indent where the woman was pushing. Stopping for a moment to listen to the noise the wall made, she took a step back and gave the wall a light tap with her big toe.

The area where she was pushing made a perfect hole just big enough for her to fit through after her toe made contact with the wall. She peeked into the hole and saw where the rest of the wall went. The perfect circle of wall she cut out was laying gently on the ground mere feet away from the entrance she made. Jumping gracefully into the building, she landed softly on her hands, and backflipped onto her feet again.

The room of the bank she had broken into was unfortunately the store room. "Damn." She said staring at the boxes of unused slips of paper for bank statements. Looking upward she found a light bulb hanging from the ceiling. Pulling the cord that was connected she illuminated the room. From the light the darkness of her clothes seemed to lessen, and seemed to gather back down towards her shadow. Glancing back at the hole in the wall, she waved her hand at it and the piece she cut out with force was gently raised by four small strands of a dark matter. The strands wriggled as they pushed the heavy piece of wall back into place. After they did this the strands flew back towards the woman's shadow.

Walking over to the only door in the room the woman silently opened the door to the rest of the building. When she walked into more of the well lit area of the bank the darkness of her clothes again seemed to lessen, and reverted back to their normal colors. "Fucking lights..." She said as soon as she noticed her costume revert back to its usual colors. The woman was wearing a light blue beret, coupled with a Nine Inch Nails t-shirt and blue jeans. Putting one of her hands up, the woman's shadow enlarged and shot out in all directions, after awhile the lights slowly went out one by one and the woman was engulfed with darkness again. She could not hold the lights back for long however as it took a lot of her own stamina to control her shadow. Hurrying now towards the safe, the woman used the same technique she used on the wall.

However due to the strain that was controlling her shadow she could not knock a hole in the door in one try. It took her three attempts and she finally managed it. Silently slinking into the safe she froze as she heard a familiar sound occur as she put her foot down on the safe floor. Flood lights appeared all around her, and a loud ringing began to occur in the entire building. She looked down and noticed that she tripped the silent alarm. She was unaware of it due to the strain of keeping the main room dark. She said to herself, "Fuck...well this is going to get interesting very soon." From far away she could already hear the sound of sirens approaching.
