Peeking out of the hole she made in the safe, the woman watched as the blurry shapes of the law enforcement come into the bank, their guns pointed in her direction. Knowing that it would be utter suicide to try to resist capture at this point while her powers were weakened by the mass of lights flooding her from all sides. Hearing a voice commanding her to come out with her hands above her head, she silently obeyed. As soon as she got out of the safe, she felt herself pushed roughly to the ground, and her hands forced behind her back and zip tied.
Feeling herself get pulled up to her feet, she was pushed roughly in the back, glancing around hoping that when she gets outside it would be dark enough to slaughter these men. She started to walk in the direction of the main bank door, when shouts and gun fire were heard. The patrol of cops that were accompanying her, stopped and asked a few questions about what was going outside into their walkie talkies. She could not hear very well, and her sight was blurred due to the lights, what she got out of the walkie talkies was "Plaid Whip" and "Open fire". She did not know who or what this "Plaid Whip" was but she knew "Open Fire" feeling the cops roughly push her down again on the floor as they pulled out their guns and formed a circle around her.
Landing gently on the roof, The Plaid Whip cracked his weapon on the ceiling of the bank, he scowled noting that it would take more force to break through this. Looking around he snapped his whip in the direction of the nearest sky scraper and retracted the whip, pulling himself up to the top with great speed. About halfway up the sky scraper, he stopped and he set his feet against one of the large windows. Bending his knees he squatted in midair and after taking a deep breath he kicked out releasing the whips hold on the skyscraper. Falling down back towards the bank his red hair flying behind him, he snapped his whip downward and watched as the end of the whip change into a large hammer. Smiling to himself he watched the hammer land hard into the roof going in about halfway. He pulled the whip back again and struck the roof once more as he got closer and closer to certain death. However on the second hit he felt the hammer break through all the way.
The villain then retracted the rest of the whip and started falling faster. Before hitting the roof however he yanked the whip behind him, pulling a large hole out of the ceiling of the bank. The whip then came back down and slammed in the ground to halt the villains fall, and saving his life.
The cops opened fire when they saw the villain break into the bank. The woman trying to see what the hell was going on raised her head only to have it shoved back down by a watchful officer.
Smirking to himself The Plaid Whip watched as each and every bullet was blocked by his watchful and protective whip. "You guys should know better," he said as he brought the whip back, "You can't do anything to me!" He swung the whip in a horizontal sweeping motion watching the edges of the whip sharpen.
Screams of pain occurred all around the captured woman, and she felt something warm and wet fall all over her. Looking up she saw half of the cops recovering from a quick duck, half of their faces covered with blood. The other half however were headless and their bodies started to fall over. She gasped with fright as she down at herself and found that she was drenched in blood.
The Plaid Whip cackled with delight at the sight of the headless cops. Swinging the whip upward again he brought it down again targeting one of the cops, the cop barely dodged it and fired wildly at the villain, missing him and his whip entirely and taking out one of the bright flood lights. The villain laughed and yanked his whip back, in this motion he accidentally took out the flood light that was directly above the cops. "Come on! You guys should just give up!" he taunted bringing the whip back toward the cop he missed before piercing him in the heart.
The woman, noticing the brightness suddenly go dark all around her smirked and glanced at the nearest light with her green eyes. She frowned, as a small glob of darkness fought it's way from her shadow all the way to the nearest light. She pushed hard with her mind when she finally felt it, the quickly dissolving glob pushing against the light. Snapping her fingers the little glob exploded taking the light with it. Smiling now as most of her energy returned, she dissolved the zip ties around her wrist and slowly got to her feet.
Plaid Whip's eyes narrowed as he saw someone that was not a cop stand up. Swinging the whip back he took a swing at his new target instead. The figure simply raised a hand and caught the whip with her bare palm. The figure looked back at the villain, and was suddenly covered in darkness. Hearing the cracks of the lights all around him, the entire bank was smothered in darkness, the only light that trickled it's way into the bank was from the police flood lights outside, and the headlights of the cars. All he could see of the strange person was her green eyes. Pulling his whip back he aimed a shot straight for them.
The woman felt the whip fly through the darkness, she closed her eyes and the whip stopped in mid air. With a mere thought she bent the whip and forced it to take the shape of a long pointed spear. Opening her palm she pushed the spear back, and heard the sounds of the villain scream of pain. She smelled his blood dirty the air.
Feeling his own weapon plunge through his left arm, Plaid Whip screamed with pain, as he pulled the whip out. He snarled and raised the whip with his bleeding arm and cracked the whip again hoping to slay whoever this person was. As he did this he felt more of his body parts pierced with an unknown weapon. Screaming in pain he collapsed to the ground.
The woman smirked as she saw her foe fall to the ground. "Don't know why you tried so hard," she said slowly engulfing him into darkness, "Time for me to end this." When the villain was fully engulfed in darkness, the woman began to close her hand, her intention to squeeze the life from this "Plaid Whip". However she felt her power suddenly drained away from her. Gasping for breath she looked over at the outside, The sun was beginning to rise. "Fuck!" snarling to herself, she recalled her shadow to herself releasing the villain. "Not now..not now.." Glancing over to the sunlight she turned away from the fight and fled from the sun.
However she did not get very far as something very large came out of nowhere and knocked her over. The woman banged her head hard on the floor and felt her consciousness fade away. Slowly getting back to his feet, Plaid Whip saw the large salamander looming over the woman from before. With a snarl of pain he snapped his whip up and fled from the scene knowing who that salamander belonged to. He did not want to get in a fight with that person right now.
The Salamander roared and gently attempted to scoop the woman up with his mouth. However the shadow of the unconscious woman reared back and attacked the Salamander. Roaring with pain the salamander slashed at the shadows only to do no harm to them but causing damage to the bank wall. Trying to fight off the shadows the Salamander lashed this way and that with his large claws. The shadows finally seemed to dissipate when the sunlight fully illuminated the bank. Blinking to itself the large creature seemed to think it won the fight. Shaking it's head happily it gently scooped the woman up with it's mouth and made its way toward the entrance it made. The Bathroom. Diving into the sewers it made its way home, his prize in safe in his mouth.
