Peeking out of the hole she made in the safe, the woman watched as the blurry shapes of the law enforcement come into the bank, their guns pointed in her direction. Knowing that it would be utter suicide to try to resist capture at this point while her powers were weakened by the mass of lights flooding her from all sides. Hearing a voice commanding her to come out with her hands above her head, she silently obeyed. As soon as she got out of the safe, she felt herself pushed roughly to the ground, and her hands forced behind her back and zip tied.
Feeling herself get pulled up to her feet, she was pushed roughly in the back, glancing around hoping that when she gets outside it would be dark enough to slaughter these men. She started to walk in the direction of the main bank door, when shouts and gun fire were heard. The patrol of cops that were accompanying her, stopped and asked a few questions about what was going outside into their walkie talkies. She could not hear very well, and her sight was blurred due to the lights, what she got out of the walkie talkies was "Plaid Whip" and "Open fire". She did not know who or what this "Plaid Whip" was but she knew "Open Fire" feeling the cops roughly push her down again on the floor as they pulled out their guns and formed a circle around her.
Landing gently on the roof, The Plaid Whip cracked his weapon on the ceiling of the bank, he scowled noting that it would take more force to break through this. Looking around he snapped his whip in the direction of the nearest sky scraper and retracted the whip, pulling himself up to the top with great speed. About halfway up the sky scraper, he stopped and he set his feet against one of the large windows. Bending his knees he squatted in midair and after taking a deep breath he kicked out releasing the whips hold on the skyscraper. Falling down back towards the bank his red hair flying behind him, he snapped his whip downward and watched as the end of the whip change into a large hammer. Smiling to himself he watched the hammer land hard into the roof going in about halfway. He pulled the whip back again and struck the roof once more as he got closer and closer to certain death. However on the second hit he felt the hammer break through all the way.
The villain then retracted the rest of the whip and started falling faster. Before hitting the roof however he yanked the whip behind him, pulling a large hole out of the ceiling of the bank. The whip then came back down and slammed in the ground to halt the villains fall, and saving his life.
The cops opened fire when they saw the villain break into the bank. The woman trying to see what the hell was going on raised her head only to have it shoved back down by a watchful officer.
Smirking to himself The Plaid Whip watched as each and every bullet was blocked by his watchful and protective whip. "You guys should know better," he said as he brought the whip back, "You can't do anything to me!" He swung the whip in a horizontal sweeping motion watching the edges of the whip sharpen.
Screams of pain occurred all around the captured woman, and she felt something warm and wet fall all over her. Looking up she saw half of the cops recovering from a quick duck, half of their faces covered with blood. The other half however were headless and their bodies started to fall over. She gasped with fright as she down at herself and found that she was drenched in blood.
The Plaid Whip cackled with delight at the sight of the headless cops. Swinging the whip upward again he brought it down again targeting one of the cops, the cop barely dodged it and fired wildly at the villain, missing him and his whip entirely and taking out one of the bright flood lights. The villain laughed and yanked his whip back, in this motion he accidentally took out the flood light that was directly above the cops. "Come on! You guys should just give up!" he taunted bringing the whip back toward the cop he missed before piercing him in the heart.
The woman, noticing the brightness suddenly go dark all around her smirked and glanced at the nearest light with her green eyes. She frowned, as a small glob of darkness fought it's way from her shadow all the way to the nearest light. She pushed hard with her mind when she finally felt it, the quickly dissolving glob pushing against the light. Snapping her fingers the little glob exploded taking the light with it. Smiling now as most of her energy returned, she dissolved the zip ties around her wrist and slowly got to her feet.
Plaid Whip's eyes narrowed as he saw someone that was not a cop stand up. Swinging the whip back he took a swing at his new target instead. The figure simply raised a hand and caught the whip with her bare palm. The figure looked back at the villain, and was suddenly covered in darkness. Hearing the cracks of the lights all around him, the entire bank was smothered in darkness, the only light that trickled it's way into the bank was from the police flood lights outside, and the headlights of the cars. All he could see of the strange person was her green eyes. Pulling his whip back he aimed a shot straight for them.
The woman felt the whip fly through the darkness, she closed her eyes and the whip stopped in mid air. With a mere thought she bent the whip and forced it to take the shape of a long pointed spear. Opening her palm she pushed the spear back, and heard the sounds of the villain scream of pain. She smelled his blood dirty the air.
Feeling his own weapon plunge through his left arm, Plaid Whip screamed with pain, as he pulled the whip out. He snarled and raised the whip with his bleeding arm and cracked the whip again hoping to slay whoever this person was. As he did this he felt more of his body parts pierced with an unknown weapon. Screaming in pain he collapsed to the ground.
The woman smirked as she saw her foe fall to the ground. "Don't know why you tried so hard," she said slowly engulfing him into darkness, "Time for me to end this." When the villain was fully engulfed in darkness, the woman began to close her hand, her intention to squeeze the life from this "Plaid Whip". However she felt her power suddenly drained away from her. Gasping for breath she looked over at the outside, The sun was beginning to rise. "Fuck!" snarling to herself, she recalled her shadow to herself releasing the villain. "Not now..not now.." Glancing over to the sunlight she turned away from the fight and fled from the sun.
However she did not get very far as something very large came out of nowhere and knocked her over. The woman banged her head hard on the floor and felt her consciousness fade away. Slowly getting back to his feet, Plaid Whip saw the large salamander looming over the woman from before. With a snarl of pain he snapped his whip up and fled from the scene knowing who that salamander belonged to. He did not want to get in a fight with that person right now.
The Salamander roared and gently attempted to scoop the woman up with his mouth. However the shadow of the unconscious woman reared back and attacked the Salamander. Roaring with pain the salamander slashed at the shadows only to do no harm to them but causing damage to the bank wall. Trying to fight off the shadows the Salamander lashed this way and that with his large claws. The shadows finally seemed to dissipate when the sunlight fully illuminated the bank. Blinking to itself the large creature seemed to think it won the fight. Shaking it's head happily it gently scooped the woman up with it's mouth and made its way toward the entrance it made. The Bathroom. Diving into the sewers it made its way home, his prize in safe in his mouth.

Chapter 2: Investigations
Commissioner Henry was a simple man, he enjoyed the simple things of life and that exact reason was why he joined the police force in order to keep life simple. Unfortunately for him, he picked the wrong city to work in. Almost every morning he received a call about one thing or another that those damned Super Villains destroyed during the night. Today started like every other, his cell phone waking him up in his lovely suburb home exactly an hour away from the hustle and bustle of the city, a home he paid an arm and a leg for, almost losing it to his ex-wife in the divorce and almost having it destroyed by a particular super villain that seemed to have it in for him.
Picking up the cell phone, rubbing his tired eyes he groggily asked into the device, "What happened now?" The voice on the other line he recognized belonged to Detective Karn, one of his more unusual detectives on the force. "Sir, there seemed to be a bit of a issue that occurred at the city bank last night, apparently multiple officers came to the scene and went in only to never come out." Henry sighed thinking of all men and women that probably had died, looking over at his alarm clock he noticed that this call happened a bit earlier than the usual ones. Sighing again he said to Karn, "Karn when did the Bank alarms go off?" the reply was instant as if Karn had this whole conversation and its flow memorized from the sheer amount of times he had called the commissioner at his home. "Around an hour ago. According to the data from the security company."
Henry yawned, and said, "Okay, I'm coming up to check it out. Set up a perimeter if you already have not, try to find the officers that went in, and again do not engage the super villains." With that Henry closed his cell phone and slumped back onto the bed. He mumbled to himself, "God damn super villains. The heroes are just as bad, from time to time. Why did I take this job?" Rubbing his eyes, he got up and walked into his bathroom. Looking at himself, he could tell that the stress of his job was finally getting to him, gray hairs were already littering his once curly brown hair.
After he finished his usual morning routine Henry, walked out of his property, got to his car, realized he forgot his badge, and went back in to fetch it. "Always something," he muttered to himself as he walked back to his sleek black car, "There is always something."
An hour later he arrived at what used to be the City Bank. The sun was slowly rising, and the building was still very dark, but he could tell that it was very much torn up. Walking up towards the building he found Karn running up to him with a large cup of coffee. "Here you go Henry." He said, handing him the large warm drink. Henry sipped the cup of coffee and looked up at Karn. Karn was a bit taller than Henry himself, sported short black hair, and appeared older than his age. Although ironically he acted a bit more immature than most his age, apart from that he was also full of energy and he had high enthusiasm for just about anything. He was a good man. Henry smiled at Karn and said, "You're working with me on this one." Karn smiled wide and said, "Thank you sir! I'll do my best!" With that the two men walked up into the remains of the bank.
Looking around what used to be the main teller office Henry asked, "You find any of the officers?" Karn nodded and said, "Most of them, some of them still alive, according to them they had a female suspect cornered and captive, they were taking her outside when another suspect came down through the roof. Through all the confusion the female got away, but the funny thing is the other suspect, who is highly suspected to be The Plaid Whip, started to attack the first suspect, and the police." Henry sighed and glanced upward at the large hole that apparently Plaid Whip made himself.
"What did the woman do?" he asked noticing the small circular hole in the safe. "She went absolutely berserk. She started to tear the place apart it seems with an unknown force." Henry walked over and inspected some large claw marks on the walls. "We got anything on this woman suspect?" He asked feeling the marks with his fingers. "No sir, nothing at all, she must be new." Henry turned and asked Karn, "Who do you think made these?" gesturing to the claw marks.
Karn walked up to them and said, "Plaid Whip maybe? I know that he can change his whip into anything. Maybe he made it into a clawed weapon on the fly?" Henry nodded in agreement,"Possibly, can't rule that out. Any heroes get involved?" Karn shook his head, "Not to my knowledge. No." Henry took another sip of coffee and muttered,"That is what is strange about this. You would think someone like Robe Man or The Disheveled Creeper would jump in at this." Henry started to head toward the safe, he asked, "Money all gone?" "No sir. All of it was left. Seemed to not be on the mind of anyone at the time."
Henry peered into the hole in the safe and saw that the money was still all in there. "So what he have here, is a unknown female suspect trying to steal money from the bank, she trips up and sets off the alarm. Cops come in, catch her, but the attention catches the eye of a super villain who is not all that friendly towards his comrades. He attacks everyone in the building destroying most of it. The woman also attacks everyone in the building, and then more cops come and they flee?" Henry shook his head, "That sounds fishy to me. Villains can easily handle us, why would they leave the money? Someone else must have come along to make them run. But who?"
Henry turned to Karn and said, "Check the building. There might be answers to the entrance of another Villain." Karn shook his head and said, "Already did that sir. No evidence can support that." Henry smirked at Karn and asked, "How did the woman escape?" Karn blinked and said, "I don't know." Henry then asked,"Well we can assume she escaped the way she got in. How did she get in?"
Karn coughed a little and said, "That we don't know either." Henry sighed and said, "Karn one thing you need to learn is to look everywhere when dealing with these villains. Did you check the bathroom?" Karn shook his head but then smiled and walked off toward the bathroom.
Henry smiled as he watched the detective go off to investigate the lavatory, but then something tapped him on the shoulder. Jumping a little in fright he turned around and saw someone very peculiar. "Oh, I was wondering when you would arrive." He said his eyes forming a slight glare at the sight of one of the cities heroes.
Henry was not fond of this particular hero. He seemed to do what he wanted and cared not what he did. He caused a lot of needless damage to city hall when the Plaid Whip tried to assassinate the mayor, to the time he purposely burnt down an orphanage that was being held hostage by Quiz Boy, his reasoning was that if the orphanage was being held hostage he should just burn it.
Henry glared at every inch of the man, from the length of his dark blue robe, that served as the figure point of his costume, to his normal clothes underneath, his fingerless gloves, his grappling hook strapped to his back, to his mask which hid his identity. Robe Man was not what you call a solution to a problem, more like a problem to a problem. "You know I could easily have you arrested." Henry said watching the hero run his fingers through his messy brown hair. "For what you did at the orphanage. You should be behind bars." Robe Man smirked again and said, "Cut the crap Henry, you know I would just evade capture like these Villains here. Now do you want me to help you figure it out or not?"
Henry already knew Robe Man had an idea what happened here and it was to early in the morning to play his games. "Why don't you enlighten me on what occurred here tonight?" Henry said, eying him carefully. Robe Man yawned and his hazel eyes quickly scanned the room. "Seems to me, that you had a burglary gone wrong. Burglar made a mistake tripped the alarm, got in a tussle with the cops, 'ol Whip shows up pissed that someone is taking his spotlight, tries to kill the burglar along with the cops. But Whip is taken by surprise by the Burglar who was more formidable than he suspected. So these two supers, fighting themselves and the cops. Don't suspect a thing when a large salamander comes out of the floor."
Henry scoffed and said, "There are no large holes in the floor. Look around you." Robe Man blinked and said, "Oh, you are right. I must be wrong. But who made those?" He asked pointing at the large claw marks on the walls. "Those are not from the Plaid Whip. Trust me. I know what the Whip is capable of. Are you sure you checked everywhere for entrances for another villain?" From another room Karn's voice rang through out the Bank. "Commissioner Henry! Come quick! I found something!"
Robe Man smirked again at Henry and said, "You best go see your boy, Henry. Before he gets in too deep." Henry who was looking over in Karn's direction turned back to Robe Man but found no one there. "God damn it. I hate it when he does that."
Moving over to the bathroom of the bank, Henry found Karn staring into the bathroom. "What did you find Karn? Somebody not flush?" He joked chuckling to himself. Karn just pointed into the bathroom and Henry peeked in. There was no bathroom. It seemed it was torn out by some huge creature from underneath and pulled under into the sewer system. Gazing into the sewers Henry sighed and thought to himself, "How does he always know?" He tried to fight the image of Robe Man's smirking face that he was probably making right now. He turned to Karn and said, "Well looks like we have to rule a few things out in our hypothesis."

Chapter 1: Two Hours Earlier
Behind the City Bank hours before the cops rushed in, and a certain villain clad in plaid came to investigate. The person who caused the ruckus was currently leaning against the wall of the alley behind the Bank. Casually lighting a cigarette with a zippo lighter and bringing it up to her mouth, her green eyes staring deep at the wall of the bank.
The woman blended in perfectly with the darkness of the alley, as her entire attire was black. The only way someone would notice her was if someone walked by and noticed the small light from the cigarette. Her hair was tied back in a pony tail so it would not get in her way when she started what she planned to do tonight.
Finishing the cigarette she walked casually to the spot she was eying before and placed her hands against the wall. After she did this she spat the cigarette butt out of her mouth, she glanced at it and the small light seemed to be grabbed by an unseen force as the butt was dissolved. Smirking to herself she pushed her weight against the wall. The building creaked and moaned as the back of the bank seemed to indent where the woman was pushing. Stopping for a moment to listen to the noise the wall made, she took a step back and gave the wall a light tap with her big toe.
The area where she was pushing made a perfect hole just big enough for her to fit through after her toe made contact with the wall. She peeked into the hole and saw where the rest of the wall went. The perfect circle of wall she cut out was laying gently on the ground mere feet away from the entrance she made. Jumping gracefully into the building, she landed softly on her hands, and backflipped onto her feet again.
The room of the bank she had broken into was unfortunately the store room. "Damn." She said staring at the boxes of unused slips of paper for bank statements. Looking upward she found a light bulb hanging from the ceiling. Pulling the cord that was connected she illuminated the room. From the light the darkness of her clothes seemed to lessen, and seemed to gather back down towards her shadow. Glancing back at the hole in the wall, she waved her hand at it and the piece she cut out with force was gently raised by four small strands of a dark matter. The strands wriggled as they pushed the heavy piece of wall back into place. After they did this the strands flew back towards the woman's shadow.
Walking over to the only door in the room the woman silently opened the door to the rest of the building. When she walked into more of the well lit area of the bank the darkness of her clothes again seemed to lessen, and reverted back to their normal colors. "Fucking lights..." She said as soon as she noticed her costume revert back to its usual colors. The woman was wearing a light blue beret, coupled with a Nine Inch Nails t-shirt and blue jeans. Putting one of her hands up, the woman's shadow enlarged and shot out in all directions, after awhile the lights slowly went out one by one and the woman was engulfed with darkness again. She could not hold the lights back for long however as it took a lot of her own stamina to control her shadow. Hurrying now towards the safe, the woman used the same technique she used on the wall.
However due to the strain that was controlling her shadow she could not knock a hole in the door in one try. It took her three attempts and she finally managed it. Silently slinking into the safe she froze as she heard a familiar sound occur as she put her foot down on the safe floor. Flood lights appeared all around her, and a loud ringing began to occur in the entire building. She looked down and noticed that she tripped the silent alarm. She was unaware of it due to the strain of keeping the main room dark. She said to herself, "Fuck...well this is going to get interesting very soon." From far away she could already hear the sound of sirens approaching.

Prelude: A Significant Declaration
The full moon shined down upon the skyscrapers of Metropolis city, the lights of the towers dark from being unoccupied. Cars drove by these towers, tired employees of big business finally heading home after a long days work, making their way slowly out of the city or deeper into it. No one walked the sidewalks, save for the odd pigeon or homeless, for at night it was not safe for the normal people to go about. For two reasons really the multiple gangs running around the alleys, and the self proclaimed super criminals.
The police could handle the gangs well enough, but the super criminals were another story. Unable to keep up with their advance weaponry the police simply decided to let them do as they please. The police force of Metropolis could not keep up with the constant losses of men against them. So they caved in and allowed the villains free reign upon their lovely city.
However after awhile, after being sick and tired of pushed around by the maniacs, some of the civilians took up alter-egos for themselves, and went out to battle the villains. Many of them died from lack of experience fighting crime, and many of them decided to give up and hang up their capes. However not all of these average people were average. They stuck with it and continue to protect this city to this day. This story documents the efforts of these villains and heroes, in a struggle to take over this city, or to protect it.
Feeling the wind flutter around his face, the super villain known as "The Plaid Whip" swung around Metropolis, his hands wrapped around a long whip that went off into the dark sky. When he reached as far the whip could go, he twitched his wrists and the whip's cord flung forward and clawed at another building allowing the villain to move forward, while he went toward his destination, the city bank. He gazed down upon the street far below him watching the cars underneath him scurry their owners to the places they called home. He had no home. He was constantly on the move. He cursed these blue collar men and women, doing the same routine everyday for the rest of their lives.
The whip snapped again as he neared his destination. He flicked his wrist again and the whip retracted and pulled high up into the sky, when he reached the nearest skyscraper that the whip attached to, he flicked his wrist again and shot up towards the top of the skyscraper. There the moonlight brought the villains features into full view. He was a well built man, his outfit was remarkably simple compared to some of the other villains out in the city. A simple black mask that stuck around his eyes, hiding his identity, while he wore a simple plaid hoodie, his pants were normal beaten up jeans, with a few holes here and there. His shoes were simple, just high tops with the plaid design that matched his hoodie. The hood was currently down and it showed his dark orange hair tied back in a pony tail.
The whip curled around his arm like a large plaid snake. It seemed to have a mind of its own when it was not in use. The Plaid Whip stroked it a little while he gazed down at the bank, his blue eyes narrowing as he saw cop cars pull up near the bank, and various cops rush into the building. His eyes saw a little bit of commotion through the windows. He turned his gaze to the whip and said to it, "Well. Looks like we have some competition tonight my old friend. We can't have that. Because I will destroy this city no matter how long it takes." With that The Plaid Whip snapped the whip and ran off the building swinging towards the bank, and the commotion.

Thirsty.
Someone asked me earlier today if I was okay. As usual I said, "I'm fine" and to make sure of that fact I added a colon and a large capital "D" to form this face :D The conversation ended there seeing that nothing else could be said. Lately, I find myself in positions where someone wants to know how things are going in my life and I just push them away, I wish I could just let them in. To tell them how I'm really feeling instead of hiding it under a lie with a colon and a capital "D".
When I think about it. I can't remember the first lie I told, I guess that is probably the case with everyone, seeing as we lie every day. To friends, to family, to co-workers, to strangers. I find it interesting that lying is our global way of keeping our secrets in our head. I'm glad no one I know is telepathic. Hell, I'm glad I'm not telepathic. Hearing everyone's thoughts and knowing everyone's feelings about you or anything would be way overwhelming. I would not enjoy it.
But really, getting back to the subject. The truth is. I don't know if I am okay or not. I don't know if I'm depressed or joyful. I just can't seem to find the fun I used to have with certain people. People that I once enjoy being around now give me headaches, people that gave me headaches I now enjoy.
Lately I've been asking people if I've changed or not. Most people have said somethings, others have said something else. But I know now. Deep down in my heart I believe I have changed, for the worse. I don't think I'm fun to be around anymore. I seem to get cranky easily, when I get cranky I then want to be alone. I also care less about the people I used to care about. I remember in high school I really wanted to help others with their issues, but now. I don't give a flying fuck.
I dunno. Maybe this is just a weird phase I'm going through.
I wish I could find my heart again. To actually care about something.

Hello Big World.
Hello, I would like to thank you for visiting my Blog. You probably already know me, my mannerisms, my appearance, the sound of my voice, the noise my feet make when I walk, my views on life, the universe, and everything.
Hmm. I'm trying to figure out why I made this blog, out of boredom and loneliness I suppose. I guess the main reason I made this is to find out more about myself and to keep track of my thoughts and feelings on this interweb. Hrrm. I guess I can't say much now. I'll elaborate on myself in a later blog.
